Information that needs to be gathered:

♥Where are they calling from?
♥the reason of the call
♥A call back number
♥If the request of medical records is in the pt's chart
It is important to keep in mind that we want to identify correctly and understand the needs of the person calling, in order to be able to transfer the call to the person or dpt that will be able to provide or find the answers to the question at hand.
